optimized metal tape measure

The new facility the thickness and profile check an enormous gap measurement offers of 190 mm, which was nearly tripled. Also, wavy or vibrating metal bands can thus be reliably detected. Instead of the previous point laser sensors are now used profile sensors, which measure much better in a variety of belt materials and increase the monitoring range significantly. The system provides for a thickness measurement with 0.01 mm accuracy and serves to stabilize the process, quality assurance and documentation. By using a special high-tech photoelectric reliable edge detection is also present in distorted bands. This enables a robust width measurement with high reliability. Even single strip over the entire process down to the ring ready for delivery are documented. The system works by using optical measurement methods, in contrast to the widely used radiometric method is completely free of radiation and alloy-and material-independent. The measuring system for thickness and profile testing is used for tapes up to 4 m in width and thickness between 1 mm and 12 mm.

attractive brochure for Laser distance sensors

Must distances are measured in meters, laser distance sensors are often the choice. They measure with impressive precision distances between 0.1 m and 3,000 m.

Typical applications are, for example, loading cranes, the positioning of the trolley or the monitoring of the distances between the cranes. Also, the detection of the diameter of metal or Papiercoils is one of the typical applications. Even the shiny surface of metals interfere with the measurement by a special arrangement.

The optoNCDT ILR sensors use two different measurement methods. Operation and advantages of each model are presented in the new brochure of the product group optoNCDT ILR. In addition to typical applications shows the prospectus in the differentiating characteristics of the sensors and assist you in selecting the right model.

One-sided thickness measurement

The proven combination sensor for thickness measurement of plastic or foil has been completely revised and now offers much improved properties. Like the first time in 1992 proposed model, the new combination sensor KSS6380 a capacitive and an eddy current sensor in one case, is now also integrated a temperature detection sensor head. The sensors measure contact and continuously in one axis on the same spot. They thus offer significant advantages over conventional structures with adjacent sensors. The sensor is produced in a new, unique manufacturing technology that was developed in-house. The core technology is a ceramic substrate. This results in advantages such as extremely high resolution, a high degree of integration and a very high temperature and long-term stability.

For quick thickness measurement of plastic layers or films, there is now a new combination sensor system. The sensor combines a capacitive sensor with a Eddy current sensor in a housing. The measurement system KSS6380 detected without contact, the thickness of the target from one side and is therefore essential for process control in production.
In measuring the electromagnetic field penetrates the eddy current sensor and the plastic induced in the underlying metallic object eddy currents. From this signal, the distance from the sensor to the metal surface is determined behind the plastic. The capacitive sensor measures the capacity that is determined both by the distance between the sensor and the metal plate and the volume of the plastic. In the difference method, then the thickness of the two signals are calculated. In a single, specific to the Application-optimized combination plug is used for the signals of the temperature measurement, the capacitive and the eddy current sensor. Thus, only one sensor cable to the sensor controller is required.
The substantially revised sensor controller has now in addition to the analog output signals via an Ethernet interface, allowing the sensor configured via a web browser and the data can be output.
